Virginia Tech Police

It is hard to see... but the young boy in this picture is standing at the roadside wearing his Boy Scout uniform. He was waiting on the funeral procession for Virginia State Trooper Andrew Fox yesterday as the convoy carried him to his final resting place.....

The young boy stood proudly in his uniform and rendered a hand salute to the entire convoy. What a fitting tribute, and fine display of respect and character for such a young child.

FRIDAY NIGHT SPONSOR’S PARTY:
Friday evening our Organizing Committee will be hosting a Sponsors Party at Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington to kickoff the 2nd Annual Boy Scout Skeet Tournament. We will have heavy hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction, raffle games with prizes ranging from a t-shirt to a gun, and music & dancing. Cocktail attire. Sponsors are given tickets based on their Sponsorship Level. Individual shooters may purchase Friday night tickets for $75 each.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: 2 rounds of Skeet (50 shots), range fees, 12 gauge shells, breakfast, beverages, lunch, & awards. Tournament will be filled on a first-registered, first-reserved basis. Shotgun start at 8:30 am. Shooters wishing to shoot 20 or 28 gauge must bring their own shells.

AWARDS AND PRIZES: A Shotgun will be awarded to the first place shooter in each Lewis Class. Other prizes will be given to the 2nd place shooters in each Lewis Class. There will also be an award for the last place shooter.

REGISTRATION: Shooters may register as an individual at $100, or as part of a sponsors package. Youth age 13 years and older may participate with prior Skeet Game experience.

EAGLE SPONDORSHIP:
For $400 you or your company will be represented by a custom sponsor sign (provided by us) posted on a shooting station during the tournament. Eagle sponsors receive 2 free shooters, 2 tickets to the Friday Night Sponsor’s Party, and your company name will also be placed on a tournament banner that will list all Eagle Sponsors.

Field Sponsorship:
For $2,500 your company will be recognized with a banner (provided by us) displayed on the field as a Field Sponsor. In addition, Field Sponsors receive four free shooters and 4 tickets to the Friday Night Sponsor’s Party, & 4 Raffle Tickets

Friday Night Sponsor:
For $5,000 your Company will receive a field sponsorship with premier placement, banner on your field, 8 individual shooters, 10 tickets to the Friday night event with reserved seating, a recognition table as the Friday night sponsor for your business, and recognition on the Invitation for the Sponsor’s Dinner

The Boy Scouts of America are pleased and honored to invite you to participate in the 2nd Annual Boy Scout Skeet Tournament on Saturday, November 10th, 2012 at the Buccaneer Gun Club.

This year we have a goal of raising $25,000 for the local scouting program. Participation and support from you and your company will help us to meet our goals to benefit and strengthen Scouting in our community. We have added a Friday Night Sponsor’s Party that will be the official kickoff for this year’s Tournament.
