Flytrap opening again...

Happy to announce Flytrap will RE-OPEN this Wednesday, July 22nd from 4-10pm! 🍻The beer garden as well as to-go will be in full service. Thank you for your patience as we took time to confirm the health of our staff, & to assess & improve our setup. Table service is being swapped for a socially distanced outdoor bar, where our staff will maintain safer interactions with each other as well as guests! All other garden rules will remain, with the addition of mandatory masks while not seated at your table. We are so excited to serve this community again!

Throwback Thursday 01-16-2020: Field Trip on Fourth - HistoryPin

This image taken in 1984 shows a school field trip walking down the sidewalk in Wilmington's Brooklyn neighborhood. While the two buildings on the right have since been demolished or moved, the building on the left is still standing and is presently home to Lighthouse Film Company. In addition to the library's digital collections, this image is also accessible through the library's Historypin account where visitors can use a slider bar to switch between this historic view and a modern Google Street View. I adore this area and would love to find a one bedroom for rent. I could possibly hold off until Sept. 1st. Thank you 😊

This is on top of the ones being built by the Isabel Holmes Bridge and Pier 33 going up in front of the marina. Our neighborhood is changing every day. Hope it's not turning into Myrtle Beach where you can't even see the water because of all the high rises. ☹️☹️☹️
