Good afternoon!

This week, we spent most of our time at the Clinton County Fairgrounds, working hard to get the barn floors pressure washed and cleaned up.

We’ve definitely made some progress, but let’s just say it’s a whole lot of work for a couple of folks and two pressure washers! 😂

We’re slowly but surely cutting through years of grime and buildup, and every pass makes a difference. 💪

We’ll keep plugging away until we get it looking the way it should!

A big job, but we’re making progress one wash at a time! 🚿💦

🌧️ Working Between the Raindrops! 🌧️

It was another busy week for our crews, and we managed to get plenty accomplished despite Mother Nature doing her best to slow us down!

We were able to finish up work at Westboro Cemetery and Lees Creek, helping keep these areas looking their best. We also spent some time at the fairgrounds helping clean out a few barns and, during the rainy stretches, helped clean up the Sabina Municipal Building.

Rain or shine, our crews keep finding ways to serve communities throughout Clinton County! 💪🇺🇸

A big thank-you to everyone who continues to give us opportunities to help. We appreciate it!

A big thank you to Karen and Walmart for everything you do for Clinton County!

Karen goes above and beyond, supporting countless community events throughout the county. Her dedication helps make so many of these events possible, and we’re incredibly grateful for all she does.

Thank you, Karen, and thank you, Walmart, for investing in our community!!

Another busy week is in the books for the JACS Program!
This week, our crews worked in the cemeteries in Port William and Westboro, helping keep these important places looking their best. We also completed litter pickup along State Route 380 and Cowan Creek Road. The best part? We found far less trash than we have in the past—a great sign that people are taking pride in keeping our roads clean!
We also spent some time in New Vienna cleaning up around the second lagoon, continuing to assist our communities wherever we’re needed.

** We also cleaned up the waterway on N Lincoln Street near Denver School in Wilmington.

On Tuesday evening, Judge David Henry represented the JACS Program at National Night Out events in Blanchester and Wilmington. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to make it to Sabina this year, but we hope to be back next time!
Our program succeeds because of the incredible support we receive from our community. We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Walmart for donating water and Gatorade to keep our crews hydrated, McDonald’s on US 68 North for providing meal cards to keep everyone fueled throughout the day, and the American Legion Post 49 for their generous financial support toward equipment purchases.
And a very special thank you to Joan, who has brought delicious desserts for our crews. Your kindness never goes unnoticed!
We truly appreciate everyone who supports our mission. Together, we’re making Clinton County a cleaner, better place—one project at a time.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Our JACS crews stayed busy again last week, continuing to make a positive impact throughout Clinton County. We spent time in New Vienna cleaning guardrails and assisting with the cleanup efforts at the village’s lagoon (wastewater treatment facility).

Every week we’re grateful for the opportunity to give back to our communities while helping participants earn a second chance through hard work and service.

If the weather cooperates, we’re hoping to spend some time this week trimming and cleaning up a few local cemeteries.

As always, thank you to everyone who supports our program and the communities that welcome our crews. We’re proud to serve Clinton County—one project at a time! 🇺🇸

Today, we want to extend our sincere gratitude to the members of American Legion Post 49 for their continued generosity and support of our JACS (Jail Administered Community Service) Program.

Thanks to their latest donation, we were able to purchase a pole trimming saw that will help us safely and efficiently maintain roadsides, parks, cemeteries, and other public spaces throughout Clinton County. Last year, they also generously provided us with a backpack leaf blower, which has been an invaluable tool for our crews.

Their commitment to serving our community didn’t end when they hung up the uniform. These veterans continue to answer the call through their unwavering support of local programs that make a difference every day.

To the men and women of American Legion Post 49—thank you not only for your generosity today, but for your service and sacrifices that have protected the freedoms we all enjoy. Your dedication to God, Country, and Community is an inspiration to us all.

Please join us in thanking these outstanding American heroes. 🇺🇸

Over the past couple of weeks, our JACS crews have been busy helping the Clinton County Fairgrounds prepare for fair week. In between projects at the fairgrounds, we’ve also cleaned guardrails along several county roads and were able to get back into another cemetery to tackle overgrown weeds.

We’re grateful for the continued support and the many requests we receive from communities throughout Clinton County. We certainly have plenty of work to keep us busy, with new projects coming in every week!

We often get asked to “put someone on the schedule.” Because our crews depend on inmate availability and other factors outside our control, we aren’t able to schedule projects for specific dates. Instead, we keep a running list and complete jobs as soon as we’re able. If something is urgent or presents a safety concern, we do our best to move it to the top of the list.

We know everyone would like their project completed as quickly as possible, and we truly appreciate your patience. Our goal is to help as many people and communities throughout Clinton County as we can, and we’ll continue working hard to get to every project as soon as possible.

Thank you for your continued support of the JACS Program!

It was another busy and productive week for our community service crews!
We kicked off the week by helping the Clinton County Fairgrounds get everything ready for fair week. It’s always rewarding to lend a hand with an event that brings so many people together.
Our crews also spent time trimming and cleaning up a couple of local cemeteries, helping ensure these important places remain well cared for and respectful for visitors
To finish out the week, we assisted Adams Township with cleaning the guardrails along the Doster Road interstate overpass, making another small improvement that helps keep our community looking its best.
Every project completed is another example of what can be accomplished through teamwork and community partnerships. We appreciate everyone who gives our crews the opportunity to serve and make a positive difference throughout Clinton County!

Another productive week is in the books for our Community Service crews!

This week, our crews were proud to lend a hand throughout Clinton County by:
• Assisting the PAWS Humane Society once again.
• Helping the Clinton County Fairgrounds clean out several livestock stalls in preparation for fair week.
• Continuing work along the bike path.
• Assisting the Village of Sabina with preparations for their Independence Day celebration.
• Representing the Community Service Program alongside Judge David Henry in the Blanchester, Sabina, and Wilmington Independence Day parades.
• Wrapping up the week by helping the crews at Denver Williams Park clean up after last night’s Independence Day celebration.

These projects not only help keep our communities looking their best, but they also give participants the opportunity to give back through meaningful work.

A very special thank you to Mr. Twisty LLC and the Beam family for stopping by today and treating our workers to ice cream. Your generosity and support were greatly appreciated, especially after a hard day’s work in the summer heat!

Thank you to everyone who continues to support this program and the positive impact it has throughout Clinton County.
