***ATTENTION CITY OF WILMONT***
Bargen Inc is in town working on mastic and crack sealing for 3rd Ave, 5th Ave & 6th Ave. Vehicles parked on street will need to be moved off of these streets until crack sealing is complete. We do not have an end date at this time but cones should be placed where you should not drive - once cones are moved the area is drivable. If able please avoid parking directly on the crack sealing rubber so it has time to properly set. We apologize for the late notice but I was only just informed that they would be in town working. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Friendly reminder that if you are dumping your grass clippings at the City Dump to please put in the correct area (the bunker is just North of the water tower and completely separate from the burn piles).

Also if you have a sump pump in your basement you need to make sure that it is draining outside and not down your basement drains as that can cause quite a bit of issues on our sewer system.

Thank you!

Just a reminder to the City Residents that this week is Weather Awareness week and today we are doing the Tornado Drill testing. What this means is that the sirens will be going off at 1:45pm and also 6:45pm. This would be a good time to make sure that you can hear the sirens and also practice what you would do if the siren really did mean a tornado or bad weather was on the way. If you have kids the siren test tonight would be a good practice run to do with them just incase they are home alone during the summer time and they can be prepared on where to go and what to do! Have a great day!
