Good Evening,

This is Samantha Charles-Dixon, Principal of Daniels Learning Center, calling with an important announcement.

Eighth-grade students who need to finish high school courses will need to check out their devices for the summer so that they can finish up their courses. I will send home a letter with each student with their current percentages and due dates for completion.

Our students once again showed us what it means to “Grow and Fly”.

We had several students who scored higher on the retakes, and I’m so proud of the effort everyone made on the ELA retest.

Math retesting for both face-to-face and virtual students on Monday this week. The science retest for 5th and 8th-grade students is on Tuesday.

Students must arrive on campus by 7:15 am. You are reminded that ALL students must follow our safety protocols. Please be sure to remind your students to come with their Chromebook charged and charger each day of testing. All virtual students will need a ride to and from school on the days of testing.

Also, please make sure our students get a good night's rest the night before each test and a good breakfast in the morning.

Those are all of my announcements. I hope you all have a great week, and thank you for everything you do to help us “Grow and Fly.”
