Zander Wayne Teeple has been reported missing by his family on 8/15/2026. Zander’s last known LOCATION WAS CAPTURED VIA HOME SURVEILLANCE (CEDARVIEW SUBDIVISION) on August 15, 2026 at approximately 4:40AM. If anyone has had contact or has any information as to Zander’s whereabouts, please contact the Hannahville Tribal Police Department at 906-466-2911 Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. If after normal office hours, contact Menominee County 911 at 906-863-6614.

Please note that our department lobby will be closing early today at 2pm EST as we head down to the Unity in the Community/ National Night Out event at the Gathering Grounds. The lobby will reopen on Tuesday, August 4th, during our regular business hours, 8am-4pm EST.

Rest assured that we are still here for you in case of emergencies. Road patrol officers will continue to be on duty and available to assist with any emergencies or urgent matters.

MULTIPLE OVERNIGHT OVERDOSES, DEATH RELATED TO LOCAL CO***NE PURCHASES

MENOMINEE, MI – Sheriff Darrin Kudwa reports that co***ne use has resulted in at least four overdoses and one death in Marinette and Menominee Counties since last night.

While individuals have been detained in reference to this investigation, Sheriff Kudwa cautions that more of the tainted drug may have been distributed locally.

A joint investigation comprised of multiple Michigan- and Wisconsin-based agencies is ongoing.

Anyone with information related to these incidents are asked to contact the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office via phone at 906-863-4441. Tips can also be submitted anonymously via the Crime Stoppers of Marinette and Menominee County website or the P3 Tips app.

Earlier today, Chief Hansen had the opportunity to meet with FBI Director Kash Patel at the Gun Lake Tribal Police Department in Shelbyville, Michigan. The discussion focused on strengthening the partnership between the FBI and tribal law enforcement through collaboration, resource sharing, and open communication.

Strong partnerships between tribal, local, state, and federal agencies are essential to enhancing public safety and ensuring the best possible service to our communities. We appreciate the opportunity to work alongside Director Patel and our federal partners in support of that mission.

Friendly reminder that the Hannahville Tribal Police Department lobby will be closed tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, in observance of our community’s holiday, the Epson Tour - LPGA Tournament. Our office will reopen on Monday, June 29th, during our regular business hours, 8am-4pm EST.

The Hannahville Tribal Police Department lobby will be closed tomorrow, June 19th, 2026, in observance of the Hannahville Indian Community Gathering & Juneteenth. Our lobby will reopen during normal business hours on Monday, June 22, 2026.

🚔Road patrol will remain operational, and officers will be on duty as normal. Emergency services are not affected by this closure.
