What an exciting time in AVID! 🎉📚

Our AVID 1, 2, & 3 students have been busy building skills, collaborating with classmates, and having a lot of fun along the way! Students recently practiced their Cornell Notes by taking notes on the process of making a stress ball. After collaborating with their groups and reviewing their notes, they were able to put their learning into action by creating their very own stress balls! 📝👏

The fun continued during the 2nd Annual AVID Games! 🏅 Each grade level competed in exciting events including a softball toss, balloon pop relay race, tug-of-war, and a 100-yard dash. The competition was filled with teamwork, school spirit, laughter, and friendly rivalry as students cheered each other on throughout the day!

Congratulations to all of our event winners who earned ribbons for their hard work and determination, and a HUGE congratulations to the AVID 3 class for being named the overall champions of this year’s AVID Games! 🏆🎊

We are so proud of our AVID students for working hard, supporting one another, and showing what it means to learn, lead, and succeed together! 💙💛

Pre-AP Honors students had an amazing opportunity to explore the community right here in Wilson!

The day started with a visit to the Wilson Tourism Development Authority, where they graciously gave a tour and shared more about what makes Wilson such a special place. Next, students visited the Whirligig Park & Museum to learn more about the history, art, and culture that make the city unique.

To wrap up an awesome day, the group headed to cheer on the Wilson Warbirds! ⚾

This past Saturday, students from Beddingfield High School walked the red carpet and brought Hollywood to life for an unforgettable night! From glamorous gowns and sharp tuxedos to nonstop dancing and memories made with friends, our Hollywood-themed Prom was truly a night to remember. 🎬⭐

Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening so special — students, staff, families, and organizers. We loved seeing our Bruins shine like the stars they are! 🌟
