The school board has agreed to:
• Hire back teachers
• Use a portion of the $19 million reserves to support students
• Evaluate impact before making major decisions like closing or opening schools
• Inform voters about intentions before elections

“Nine months ago, the WLWV school board made a commitment to the West Linn community that Stafford, Bolton and Cedaroak would remain open this year and next. The district promoted a $190 million school bond to upgrade schools with no mention of school closures. Two weeks after the bond passed, the superintendent asked school board members to violate their commitment and close the two schools.”
