The next Oregon Fire Chiefs Association Board of Directors meeting will be held on Thursday, June 4, at 9:00 a.m.

As an OFCA member, your attendance is welcomed and encouraged. Meeting agenda and teleconference information have been emailed to members.

We also want to remind members that OFCA Membership Renewal and New Member Registration for the 2026-27 membership year is now open through June 30.

For more than 100 years, OFCA has been serving those who lead by providing advocacy, leadership development, education, networking opportunities, and a unified voice for Oregon's fire service.

The program focuses on stress, resilience, peer support, and Posttraumatic Growth โ€” helping first responders develop practical tools to process the challenges experienced throughout a career in emergency services.

More than 28,000 first responders across 28 states and over 500 agencies have participated in the program. Struggle Well emphasizes connection, trust, and long-term wellbeing while working to normalize conversations surrounding mental wellness within the first responder profession.

Today, the Oregon Fire Chiefs Association honors and remembers the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the sacrifice made by those who never returned home and to recognize the families who continue to carry their memory forward. Their courage, service, and dedication to protecting others will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends today, we encourage everyone to take a moment to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

On behalf of the Oregon Fire Chiefs Association, we thank all who served and especially remember those who gave everything in service to our nation.
