The incident has been safely resolved, and safety has been restored to the affected area. Manor Grove residents may resume normal and are now authorized to enter the complex. Please stay clear of Law Enforcement that remain on scene. We thank you for your patience.

The Wilton Manors Police Department is currently working a critical incident in the area of the Manor Grove Apartments, 1900 block of N Andrews Avenue.

We ask that all neighbors in the area shelter in place.

Media staging will be located at the Mobil gas station located at NE 21st CT & N Andrews Avenue.

Updates will be provided.

Due to a traffic accident, the roads at NW 29th Avenue & N Andrews Avenue are affected. There is currently only one lane open going southbound and northbound. Please consider an alternate route.

On Thursday, April 16,2026 our officers responded to a call regarding a man who was struck by a vehicle. Our officers quickly applied a tourniquet to the man’s leg, controlling the bleeding. The victim was transported to the hospital and has started the recovery process.

On Tuesday, July 14th, Officer Daniel Torres, Officer Haley Hinkofer, Officer Jason Nobles & Officer Jovanny Lima were able to reunite with Maurice! Maurice gave a speech and stated, “It’s because of these officers, that I am alive”.

It’s stories like this that make the job so special and rewarding. Thank you to our officers for their hard work and dedication to serving others and thank you to Maurice for your courage and strength! We continue to think of you during your recovery.
