Congratulations to Wimberley Texan Softball's Charlotte Woodward who was named to the UIL State 4A-II All Tournament Team for her performance in the state semifinals. Against eventual state champion Liberty, Charlotte pitched 4 1/3 innings, only allowing three runs as part of a Texan pitching performance that held Liberty to its 2nd-lowest scoring output of their entire postseason.

The Texan Baseball team’s season came to an end after a 1-0 loss to Robinson in Game 3 of its 4A-II Semifinal series. After a Game 1 loss on Thursday, the Texans forced a Game 3 by blasting the Rockets 13-0 on Friday afternoon.

The links to buy tickets and for the video steams (TexanLive and NFHS) of Wimberley Texan Baseball's 4A-II State Semifinal series vs Robinson have been posted at wimberleyisd.net/gameday.
The series begins on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Game 2 is Friday at 4:30 p.m., with Game 3 to be played after Game 2 if needed. All the games are at Georgetown HS.
