Wimberley Crisis Bread Basket is dedicated to feeding our neighbors in need!

In addition to the twice-weekly donations of nutritious food to Wimberley Valley neighbors in need, Crisis Bread Basket, along with area churches, Barnabas Connection, and FeedingWimberley.org, participates in the Supplemental Food Box program, which provides breakfast and lunches to qualified WISD students during the Summer and Winter break when school is not in session.

This summer it is estimated that the Summer Food Program will provide over 11,000 meals to our neighboring children who otherwise might miss a meal.

This is what it’s all about - Neighbors Helping Neighbors. ❤❤

Many thanks to the Danforth National Junior Honor Society for sponsoring a food drive for Crisis Bread Basket. They gathered much needed items for the upcoming Summer Food Program for students in need during the summer school break.

So wonderful to see our young community members getting involved and helping our neighbors in need.

Way to go Woodcreek Apartments! Thank you for hosting a food drive benefitting Wimberley Crisis Bread Basket!

The food drive continues until May 31st and you can help by dropping off your donations at the Woodcreek Apartments Leasing office weekdays between 9AM and 5PM.

Thank you to the Blue Hole Primary 1st Grade and the TEXAN Roots project for collecting personal care items for our neighbors in need.

It took many small hands and lots of supervision to deliver several months worth of these items to Crisis Bread Basket.

We love our Blue Hole Primary students and families who collected such an amazing donation!

We can’t be more grateful for their support!

Blue Hole Primary wrapped up their Cereal Drive and we are so grateful! The Second Grade sponsored the drive and each class donated their cereal brands for Crisis Bread Basket.

With a lot of love and elbow grease from our neighbors at Wimberley Presbyterian church and Habitat for Humanity, Crisis Bread Basket got a refresh this weekend. We love our new “digs” and we love our community. Thanks to all who helped make this happen!!

How great!!! Blue Hole Primary is holding a Cereal Drive benefitting Wimberley Crisis Bread Basket! The Cereal Drive will be from March 2nd through March 27th.

Sponsored by the second graders, this is a wonderful way to teach our youth about the importance of kindness. We are so grateful….
