With heavy heart we learned of the passing of one of our workers wives. Carol Martindale was always a big hearted lady helping with meals for our volunteers. Her husband George has helped with most all our houses. Our sympathy goes out to George, their son Nate and their families.

So that's a wrap!! Turned the house over officially to the Shidler Family of North Judson. Habitat is pleased to finish our 9th house. Very much appreciate our men and women that have helped. Our number of volunteers are few but mighty. Anyone that would like to help message us here.

Our Habitat home at North Judson is complete and Shidler Family moved in. This was our 9th home. Thank you to all that donated their time, money and meals. Habitat is a hand up, not a hand out!!

Another step closer, got appliances in!! Gas meter and line supposed to be this week. Need sidewalk after lines in. Trying to be patient!! Getting close to handing over keys to our Habitat family. We are a Hand Up, not a Hand out. Families work side by side with us to make their house a home.

I hear we got the HVAC hooked up yesterday in our Habitat house. Just waiting on the gas meter and appliances!!

With heavy heart we have lost one of our Habitat volunteers, Greg Stone of Francesville passed away Wednesday. Our volunteers are dwindling in numbers. We have lost Dennis Peck, Joan Chesak, Earl Anliker in the last few years.

Our Habitat house is coming together. STILL waiting on Gas meter AND HVAC... inside is beautiful, nice decor!! Homeowners are doing awesome.
