Day 2 of our 2026 Leadership Retreat! ☀️👟

This morning, we grounded ourselves in two powerful reminders about the kind of leaders we aspire to be through the books “The Speed of Trust” and “Radical Candor.”

As we launch our Strategic Plan, Elevate 2030, these ideas are part of our DNA as WPS leaders:
🤝 We build trust through consistency and integrity.
🗣️ We communicate with courage and compassion.
🎯 We stay relentlessly focused on ensuring every student thrives.
🌱 We embrace feedback as a gift and growth as an expectation.
🏫 We lead in ways that help every student feel seen, known, celebrated, and challenged.

When the work was done, we gathered for a friendly kickball competition followed by a cookout and ice cream.🍦Today reminded us that when people enjoy working together, great things happen for kids!

Here’s to a new year of leading with both heart and high expectations.
