Ever thought about the soup you eat on a spoon? That is how much blood is given to a premature baby. The ring you just put on your finger represents the arm of a premature baby. Before you take a sip out of that straw, try breathing through it while pinching your nose. Hard isn't it. This is how a premature baby breathes everyday. PLEASE DONATE! Spread the word. Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. What can fit on a spoon represents the amount of blood transfusion that is given to a newborn. Even a ring can fit around the baby's arm.

We are so excited to announce our 5th year into HOSA! In June, Mira Bagous placed 2nd in nationals for Medical Reading!!! This year, our goal is to increase our membership, promote leadership skills and community service opportunities, and also encourage students to enter the state competition in March. Again, we are excited to start another year and plan to make this year our best one yet!
