We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible neighboring departments who stepped up to assist us in putting out a house fire this afternoon. Thank you to the dedicated crews from:

🧨​Keep back: Always maintain a safe distance from lighting areas.
🧨​Be prepared: Keep a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby just in case.

​With temperatures soaring, please take care of yourself and your neighbor! Keep these 3 quick rules in mind to stay safe:

​Hydrate constantly: Drink water before you feel thirsty, and skip the extra caffeine or alcohol. 🚰

​Time it right: Avoid outdoor workouts or heavy chores during the peak heat of the day (10 AM to 4 PM). 🥵

​Know the signs: If you or someone else starts feeling dizzy, nauseous, or gets a headache, get to a cool space immediately. 😵‍💫

​Check in on elderly neighbors, outdoor workers, and please bring your pets inside! 🐾
