This combination department provides Fire/Rescue and Paramedic ambulances 24/7/365.

Thanks to many Randolph county fire instructors as well as instructors from Richmond and Portland Fire as they assisted the RAAC, a class of junior/senior high schoolers as that completed their fire course. A long day with lots of applying all the skills they learned throughout their course.

As many of you saw today, Wi******er Fire was dispatched to the Pallet Factory on Rainbow Drive around 2:40 pm for a report of pallets on fire. Upon arrival, smoke and flames were visible from the exterior. Crews made a quick attack on the fire and it was contained to the outside of the structure. We thank the following agencies for providing support to the scene: Farmland Fire, Portland Fire, Whiteriver, and Lynn Fire for their assistance. Thanks to Randolph EMS, Wi******er Street Dept, and Wi******er PD for their assistance in providing Rehab and control Of the scene. We thank those who brought out snacks and water for the crews on scene. Also thanks to OVG, AEP, and Indiana American Water for their assistance as they provided support with utilities, Randolph County Dispatch/communications for coordinating a lot of units and Randolph County EMA for on scene support.

The fire is under investigation in coordination with the Indiana State Fire Marshals office. No further details will be released at this time.

Thanks to many entities for their participation in the touch a truck event at the Square today. A nice day for many from the community to come out and see some of the big trucks involved in the infrastructure of Wi******er! Thanks to Chief Patterson on helping coordinate WFD to be able to participate and C shift for the set up at the event. Thanks to the community for coming out today!
