Due to unhealthy air quality, we will be implementing an open burn ban at Wi******er Lake State Park. This means no campfires, charcoal, or gas fire rings. We are allowing propane grills. For any questions, give us a call at 208.924.7563.

An Air Quality Advisory is issued for the Nez Perce Reservation due to smoke from regional wildfires. Track air quality at https://fire.airnow.gov.

A recent test for Harmful Algal Blooms came back positive for Microcystin in Wi******er Lake with a level of 0.9 ug/L, meaning there is concern for pets who swim in or ingest the lake water. The Anatoxin-A test came back negative. The levels are under the recreational health advisory threshold for humans, so it is still ok to recreate and fish.
