Wi******er Lake State Park is an excellent spot to enjoy fishing for rainbow trout, hiking, or simply exploring the surrounding woods. Take a spin on the lake in a rented canoe or bike one of our many trails on a rented bicycle. During the winter, enjoy some cross country skiing or ice fishing. Wi******er Lake offers 46 serviced, 22 standard, and 3 ADA campsites, as well as 4 yurts (1 ADA). Reservations can be made for Memorial Day through Labor Day for campsites and year-round for yurts.

We had an amazing time at our 2026 Spring Fishing Tournament! Thank you to GateWay Quick Stop, Marshall's Meats, Wi******er Kitchen and Bar, and North 40 Outfitters for donating prizes. We also want to thank Idaho Fish and Game Clearwater Region for setting up their Go Fishing trailer to assist anglers and grilling up some food for everyone.
🏆1st place for 12 & under category: Harper with a total weight of 15 lbs. 6 oz.
🏆1st place for 13 & over category: Shawn with a total weight of 8 lbs. 5 oz.

Happy Friday! The staff has been working hard to get all of our facilities up and running for the 2026 camping season. Because of their efforts, we were able to get Bitterroot loop open today, a week ahead of schedule and just in time for our annual fishing tournament tomorrow May 9th! We hope to have the Camas loop and shower house opened up on the regular scheduled date of next Friday, May 15th. To book a campsite please visit getoutside.idaho.gov or call 888-922-6743. We are one week out from our 2026 Spring Fishing Tournament! 🎣
Idaho Fish and Game Clearwater Region will be grilling up some hotdogs for lunch and will have their “Take Me Fishing!” trailer on site.
Prizes will include these awesome trophies from Northwest Engraving Service and donations from GateWay Quick Stop, Marshall's Meats, Wi******er Kitchen and Bar and North 40 Outfitters.
We’ll see you at the Wi******er Lake State Park boat launch on May 9th at 8:00AM for sign-up!

We had a wonderful time celebrating Wi******er’s “Deep Roots of Freedom” today by working alongside our local community to pick up trash and plant trees in the city park. Thank you to the City of Wi******er, Wi******er Days Association, and all of the local businesses and folks in the community that showed up and helped out!
