Community Partnership in action!
During Nursing Home Week 2026, we were beyond honored to welcome our local police captain to Applewood — stopping by not just to say hello, but to truly show up for our incredible staff and residents.

This is what it's all about. The people who dedicate their lives to caring for others deserve to feel cared for too — and moments like this remind us that our community sees that.
To our nurses, aides, and every single team member at Applewood: you are seen. You are valued. You are celebrated.

And to every community member, first responder, and supporter who lifts us up — THANK YOU. You make Applewood more than a care center. You make it a home.

The 2026 Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit NH Special Olympics just left the Wi******er Town Hall and will be running northbound on Keene Rd. up to Wheelock Park in Keene. They are being escorted by cruisers from different agencies around Cheshire County with their lights on for visibility and protection of the runners. Please watch for these men and women of local law enforcement as they raise monies for Special Olympics, a very worthy cause! We are proud that two of our officers (Officer Gleason and Officer Lett) are participating in this run.
