Happy Summer! The library came down for about three weeks for refurbishment, but we're back up! Please come by and find something to read!

I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since I updated on here. I changed teaching districts and the bustle of learning a new school stole all my free time. The library is still open! I gave it a fresh coat of paint and sealant this morning! New books are waiting (plus a small army of potted succulents near the front door if plants are your thing). Happy summer reading!

This morning we got to attend a very special event: the grand opening of a new Little Free Library in French Valley! This one is located at 31368 Hamburg Circle. The owners worked so hard on it!

Noticed our library needs some repair inside! That will be this week’s project before I return to teaching! Here’s a look at what we have in the library, as well as in a box on our front porch (we have snacks and books for delivery workers, but if you see a book you want you can come grab it!). Just finished Big Friendship yesterday. It’s good for anyone grappling with what this weird time is doing to their friendships. ❤️.

Good morning! The library has had some movement this week so I wanted to show what was available. Also, there are three handmade masks in there, bagged and clean. Two are book print and one is flowers. They have ribbon fasteners and would say they’re small/medium. Handmade by my mother. 🙂 stay safe, French Valley!

Good morning, French Valley! Quarantine has given us a lot of time to do some cleaning. Here we’ve found a ton of decorating books we’d like to pass on. Take as many as you like! They’re in two boxes out in front of the library. 32619 Caden Court.

Note: These are coming from a home where all members have been self-isolated for four weeks. The farthest any of us have gone is a walk around the neighborhood. FYI!
