The mission is especially meaningful here in Appalachia, where access to books and early literacy can make such a lasting impact on children and families.

The 47th annual Daniel Boone Pioneer Festival will be held September 5th and 6th, 2026 on Main Street in historic, Downtown Wi******er, Kentucky!

Start the weekend off right by enjoying a concert on Friday, September 4th with Conch Republic (the band) in front of the Court House from 7pm-10pm.

The festival will host over 140 vendors and food trucks with all proceeds benefiting the Wi******er Art Guild and Arts On Main Gallery!

Park downtown or enjoy a shuttle bus from RDC Middle School, located at 620 Boone Avenue, to avoid the traffic!
