I can’t stress enough the thanks for the support I have received through this campaign. After all the effort, this is a blow for sure, giving up on vacation this year to celebrate my 10 year anniversary with Kelsey and all of the sporting events where my kids have sacrificed with me not being there. It hurts to have missed out on those memories I’ll never get back but I can’t wait to get back to that because it drives me harder forward. Thank you to Tiffany and Viv for suffering in the rain, late at night picking up signs for who you believed in. I am so grateful for the support I received from those who stepped up without being asked. Especially a thank you more than I can say for Kelsey, for all you’ve done plus still doing the day to day parenting, I love you!

It wasn’t in the cards this time around and I really appreciate all the support from everyone. I wish the best for the elected Republican candidate for Sheriff Chad Puterbaugh and I will continue to serve this county as I always have. I look forward to serving you all in the future!! Thank you all!

Here is your reminder to vote tomorrow and what I’m about. Elect someone that is approachable, on or off duty, involved deeply in the community and wants the best for this department and county. I would greatly appreciate your support!

As we inch closer to Election Day, I encourage you to inform yourself the best you can and go vote. Your vote truly does matter!

I am not a politician, I am a deputy who has spent years on the road, day in and day out, working closely with the community and I pride myself on how I treat those I work with and serve. I truly care for this community and also know how much my family means to me in supporting me with my career. I will take care of my staff and do the best I can for them and their families. I will be involved in the community to build trust with our department. I would say you could agree with me when I say no matter your political beliefs, that drugs are a threat to our children and community. That there are good people who have found themselves in difficult situations and are lead down the wrong path. I want a department of officers that are proactively addressing the drug problem yet have the heart to treat those involved with respect and genuinely care to get them the help and support they need with the resources we have.

Officers are in a profession where they should serve with the utmost integrity and should be held to a higher standard. I will maintain that image and I have no concerns that the current staff aren’t capable of doing so as well.

I am the youngest of the candidates, being 41 years old, but I don’t believe being younger has an effect on my leadership capabilities. This department is a team of experienced individuals and it would be unwise to not use each individual’s strengths to assist in making the department better. I am not perfect by any means and what I believe differentiates me is I have the humility to know someone else may have a better idea or answer to a problem. The staff around me will supplement what I bring to the Office of the Sheriff, steady leadership through good times and adversities.

Again, I encourage you to inform yourself of all of the candidates running for all offices and choose the best for you and the county.

I thank you all for the continued support through this campaign and I look forward to continuing to serve our community, no matter the role I may serve at the department.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!! Thank you to all the teachers especially the one that has supported me from day one!

Over the past few months, my family has made a lot of sacrifices while supporting me during this campaign. I’ve always made it a priority to be present for my kids and their activities, but lately, they’ve had to give up some of that time so I could stay focused on this effort.
The teams I coach haven’t received the attention they’re used to, and some of the things I’ve dedicated myself to have taken a back seat. Most importantly, my family has seen less of me, and through it all, they’ve continued to encourage and support me.
This past weekend, I made the decision to step away and travel out of state for my daughter’s volleyball tournament. It was absolutely worth it, she played great, and her team brought home a silver bracket win! Moments like that are a reminder of what matters most.
I just want to say thank you to everyone, especially my family, for your support and encouragement over these past few months. I couldn’t have done this without you.
As we wrap things up, I’d love for you to join us at my final event: a Family Fun Day at Northblock Coffee. It’s a chance to spend quality time together and celebrate the community and values that mean so much to me.
I hope to see you there!!
