Today marks the final day of meteorological summer! ☀️🌾

Meteorological summer follows the calendar and runs from June 1 through August 31, making it easier for weather experts to compare seasonal data from year to year.

Astronomical summer, however, is based on Earth’s position in relation to the Sun. It continues until the autumnal equinox on September 22.

What will you miss most about summer—and what are you looking forward to this fall?
