Today is Memorial Day. It is the day that take time to remember everyone that we have lost to keep our great country free.

We will never be able to repay what they sacrificed, but we can keep their memory alive as long as we live.

Memorial Day is a solemn reminder that freedom is never free. Today, we honor the brave American heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

We remember our fallen warriors, pray for their loved ones and Gold Star Families, and give thanks for those who gave everything.

Here are the final results that came in later last night. We won with 72.88% of the vote.

This could not have been accomplished without everyone’s hard work, support, and dedication, and for that I am incredibly appreciative.

I’m also sharing some photos from last night’s watch party, with more to come soon. A special thank you to Jacks Public House for hosting our event. The food was great, and the service was even better. We could not have asked for a better place to watch the results come in.

It is graduation season, one of the most memorable times in life. It marks the closing of one chapter and the beginning of a new adventure.

As you look toward the future, take time to reflect on how far you have come and remember those who helped support and guide you along the way.

To all of this year’s high school graduates, your community is proud of you and stands behind you as you begin this next chapter. Whether you are continuing your education, joining the military, or entering the workforce, we look forward to seeing the impact you will make on the world.

Although there wasn’t Saturday voting today, there is still work to be done. Our team has been working hard over this campaign reaching all corners of the district with a mix door-knocking and phone-banking. Today was no exception. Today was one of last main door-knocking sessions before election day.

I truly appreciate everyone who came out to help with door knocking today and all the other door-knocking events over the last couple months. As we get closer to Election Day on Tuesday, your time and effort you have put in will make all the difference at the ballot box.

Just a reminder for everyone, as this has come up from several people over the past few weeks:
If you were planning to vote on Tuesday and you normally vote at Bethlehem Church, your polling location has changed to North Metro Baptist Church.
If you’re unsure of your assigned polling place, you can confirm your voting information through the Georgia Secretary of State’s My Voter Page. https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/
I have also attached the notification from the county elections office for reference and to confirm address.
Every vote counts and we don't need anyone going to the wrong spot when its crunch time.
