K9 Bowie is excited for everyone to see his new ballistic vest. The Georgia Police K9 Foundation provided this free vest as part of their mission to provide equipment to K9s all over Georgia.

Please join the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office in proudly recognizing Deputy Peyton Kohler for achieving a major milestone in his law enforcement career.

Today, Deputy Kohler completed his training at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC) – Athens after successfully completing the intensive Basic Law Enforcement Training program. This demanding course requires mental toughness, physical endurance, integrity, discipline, and a true commitment to public service.

Throughout the academy, Deputy Kohler met each challenge with resilience and determination while demonstrating the values we uphold at the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office.

As Deputy Kohler begins the next phase of his training, he will continue developing the knowledge and skills necessary to serve and protect the citizens of Barrow County. We look forward to watching him grow in his law enforcement career and serve our community with honor, integrity, and professionalism.
