We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Rotary Club of Braselton for their incredibly generous donation to Piedmont CASA! We are so grateful for your support of our mission and for being a part of the difference we are making in the lives of children in foster care. It was an honor to join your meeting this morning, thank you for being such wonderful community partners!

Our new volunteer training starts this evening! Have questions about becoming a CASA? You should join us!

We are closer than ever before to serving 100% of children in foster care in our community with a dedicated CASA volunteer by their side, but we still need your help to get there.

A CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer can change the trajectory of a child’s life simply by showing up, speaking up, and standing beside them during one of the hardest seasons they may ever face. For children in care, having one consistent adult advocate can mean the difference between feeling forgotten and feeling seen, heard, and valued.

Our summer volunteer training class begins Wednesday, May 28 and meets once a week for 6 weeks. It’s truly one of the best (and most fun!) times to get started. You will learn alongside an incredible group of people who are all stepping up to make a real difference for local children.

If you’ve ever felt called to make an impact —this is it.

And if becoming a volunteer isn’t for you, but you know someone who would be an amazing advocate, please tag them, share this post, or have them reach out to us. We would love to get them signed up for training.

Together, we can reach 100%.
Because every child deserves someone in their corner.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

We are deeply grateful for their courage, their commitment, and the freedoms they protected. Freedoms that allow us to continue advocating for children and families in our community every day.

As we spend time with loved ones today, we hold close the families who carry the weight of loss and we honor the heroes who are forever remembered.

With gratitude and respect, we remember them today and always.

Congratulations to all of our current CASA graduates and CASA Alumni. We are so proud of the hard work and dedication to overcome any obstacle ahead. We are grateful to the amazing caseworkers, CASA volunteers, and families that supported them in their journeys. We hope that as our young adults move into the world, they do so with confidence, hope for their future, and knowing we are always here cheering them on! 🎓
