THE RACE IS ON! LET THE SUNSHINE IN!

After days of heavy rain, Windermere's dirt roads need a little time to recover. Working closely with Town Administration, Public Works, and the Windermere Police Department, we've made some adjustments to keep everyone safe!
🌟 IMPORTANT RACE DAY UPDATES!
✅ THE RACE IS ON! Saturday, October 10!
✅ NEW COURSE: We're moving to a modified, all-paved 5K route!
✅ NEW START TIME: 7:35 AM! There will be no 7:10 AM start.
🚨 THE 10K RACE HAS BEEN CANCELLED. While we are unable to offer the 10K distance this year due to extraordinary weather conditions, all registered 10K runners are welcome to join us for the modified 5K!
🏅 10K RUNNERS: You'll keep your 10K bib, receive your 10K finisher medal, and compete in your own separate award division, including awards for top overall finishers!
✅ VIRTUAL OPTION: Registered 10K runners who prefer not to participate in the 5K may choose a virtual option when the roads are clearer and still receive their race goodies!
💙 Your T-shirt, medal, swag, and 25th anniversary celebration are all waiting for you!
We know this year looks a little different, but one thing hasn't changed — the incredible spirit of our running community!
Mother Nature may have changed our course, but she hasn't changed our spirit!
SEE YOU AT THE STARTING LINE!
