We've been making some upgrades at the RCO.

A ping pong table, two arcade games, and a space that feels a little more like home — because that's what we want it to be. Whether you live in our recovery housing, come for meetings, or just stop by to connect, there's always room for you at Hope Town.
Come see what's new. We'd love to have you.

(P.S. — the cats have already claimed the ping pong table. You've been warned.)

Five years ago, this community came together to furnish 12 apartments for men working to rebuild their lives.

Those apartments have been home to men who found employment, restored family relationships, and went on to mentor others walking the same path. The original furnishings made that possible — and after years of daily use, many of those items are now worn and need to be replaced.

If you have good, clean items you no longer need — or if you're updating your own home — Hope Town Recovery Housing may be able to put them to good use. Current needs include twin beds and mattresses, dressers, kitchen tables and chairs, TVs (55" and over), twin bedding sets, pots and pans, and household cleaning supplies.

Donations are being accepted through mid-July. To arrange delivery or pick-up, contact Lynnea St. John at 330-883-8309 or [email protected].

There are people in Ohio who have spent years making sure the recovery community has a seat at the table. Michael J. Krause is one of them.

As Executive Director of OhioPRO — and a person in sustained recovery himself — Michael has dedicated his career to strengthening peer-run organizations and giving voice to people who too often go unheard in policy conversations. We are glad he is bringing that same commitment to the Ohio AI Leadership Summit Advisory Board.

In his own words:
"I believe the recovery community has both an opportunity and a responsibility to help shape that future."

Early bird tickets are available through August 1st — $199 with code EARLYBIRD100 at checkout. Registration link in the comments.

Hope Town is hiring an Auto Technician at our Hope on Wheels Auto Clinic in Windham.

This is a part-time, hands-on role focused on diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs — keeping our fleet vehicles and customer vehicles safe, reliable, and ready. It's behind-the-scenes work that directly supports the people and services this community depends on.

We're looking for someone who:
Has proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
Takes pride in detail, safety, and doing the job right
Communicates clearly and manages their time well
Is open to being part of a mission-driven team

This position starts part-time with potential to grow into full-time status.

We're also always looking to connect with professional, reliable drivers who bring a clean background and driving record to the work.

$25–$30/hr. PTO and professional development included.

FIVE YEARS. 🎉🧡
Last Tuesday, Marcus — a valued member of the Hope Town peer support team — hit five years in recovery, and we just had to share it with you.

Marcus knows firsthand what it takes to walk the road of recovery. Now he walks it alongside others — showing up, listening, and reminding people that they are not alone. And let's be honest, he keeps us all laughing while he does it. Whether he's cracking a joke in the hallway or lightening the mood when someone needs it most, his sense of humor is a gift to everyone around him.

Marcus, you inspire us and you make us smile every single day. From everyone at Hope Town and the whole Windham community — congratulations. We love you and we are so proud of you. Keep shining. 💛

AI is no longer a future conversation.

It is already changing how organizations operate, how services are delivered, and how work gets done.

That is why we are bringing together leaders from across behavioral health, recovery, workforce development, government, and philanthropy for the Ohio AI Leadership Summit on September 10, 2026, at NEOMED in Rootstown.

This is a space for thoughtful conversation, practical learning, and honest discussion about what AI means for Ohio's future.

Early bird tickets are available now for $199—a $100 savings off the regular registration price. Use code EARLYBIRD100 at checkout before August 1 to lock in your rate.

We hope you'll join us. Registration link is in the comments.

The Hope on Wheels Auto Clinic is looking for its next leader.

We're hiring an Auto Clinic Manager — someone who knows how to run a shop, lead a team, and keep things moving with consistency and care.

This role covers the full picture: diagnostics and repairs, scheduling and workflow, staff coordination, and making sure every vehicle we touch is safe and road-ready. It's hands-on work with real operational weight behind it.

The right person might even be someone who could earn more running a larger operation — but is at a point where contributing differently matters more. Running a smaller shop with a bigger purpose is its own kind of leadership.

We're also always looking to connect with professional, reliable drivers who bring a clean driving record and a steady presence to the work.

If you or someone you know brings automotive leadership experience and a drive to be part of something meaningful, we'd love to connect.

Full-time. Competitive salary ($60K–$68K). Health insurance, PTO, and professional development included.
