Today is the day! The 41st Annual Strawberry Festival & Book Fair - A Berry Sweet Celebration in Honor of America's 250th is happening, rain or shine!!

We look forward to seeing everyone for a delightful day of strawberry shortcakes, bounce house fun, raffles, face painting, live performances, balloon art, food trucks, books, and more!! Come support the Nesmith Library at our biggest annual fundraiser!

We will be inside at Windham High School, Windham, NH today (Saturday) May 30 from 11am-5pm! All are welcome!

STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL WILL HAPPEN, RAIN OR SHINE TOMORROW (SATURDAY MAY 30TH)!

Big thank you to the Windham Moms Alliance for cutting 160 pounds of strawberries for the 41st Annual Strawberry Festival & Book Fair - A Berry Sweet Celebration in Honor of America's 250th!

There are still opportunities to volunteer for the event, and it takes a village to put together our biggest event of the year.

We have a great selection of gently used books, games, and puzzles at our annual Strawberry Festival book fair! We will be at Nesmith Library today from 11am-7:30pm.

Tomorrow marks the start of out book fair! Seniors, educators, and FLOW members are welcome to shop our preview day on Wednesday. The general public is welcome to come starting Thursday! Hope to see you all at Nesmith Library!

Mark your calendar, clear your agenda for a sweet event that has been a standing tradition for our town of Windham for the past 41 years to be held on May 30th 2026.
This year along with the usual fair of exciting games, vendors, stalls, shows, returns the Raffle table: offering goodies from local businesses. More than 30 baskets for you to choose from. Increase your chances by purchasing the Super Raffle ticket available for purchase from the FLOW website and also get a sneak peek at the baskets being offered this year.
Super Raffle ticket sales end Monday May 25th. Individual tickets will be available for sale at the raffle table on the day of the event. Be sure to stop by!

Children's Help Needed to Make Art for Strawberry Festival

Want your art featured at Strawberry Festival? Children of all ages are invited to join the Friends of the Library for a decoration workshop on Saturday May 16th from 1-2pm at Nesmith Library in the Multipurpose Room. Art supplies and snacks will be provided at this free event.

We will be at Nesmith Library:

Sat. Feb 7 10:30am-3:30pm

Sun. Feb 8 1:30-4:30pm

We will be accepting donations for the Friends of the Library of Windham (FLOW) book sales, to support the Nesmith Library programs.
We will accept current materials in excellent condition (i.e. no tears, water or food stains, yellowed pages, mold, etc.) only. We are specifically looking for current bestsellers and classics (those books you had to read in high school) for adults, young adults and children.
We can also take complete puzzles and games- no missing pieces.
We will not accept:
*Textbooks, Encyclopedias, Readers Digests. Almanacs
*Magazines
*Cookbooks
*VHS tapes or cassettes, DVDs, CDs, Books on tape the fd of boooil
