There are three new bestsellers, three new movies, one new children's book, and thirteen other new books, including three that are available online.

The new bestsellers this week are "Big Little Truths," "EA Sports Madden NFL 27 [Nintendo Switch 2]," and "The Shadow Friends." The new movies this week are "The Mandalorian and Grogu," "Disclosure Day," and "Marshals: Season One."

Now that the prizes have been picked up, the decorations have been taken down, and the reading seeds we planted this summer have fully bloomed, we want to take a moment to send our deepest thanks to the many sponsors of our summer reading program.

New edition of Nesmith News 📰 is going out now! With a few announcements:
📅 We'll be closed Sunday, September 6 and Monday, September 7 in honor of Labor Day.
💬 Due to a decline in use, the “Ask a Librarian” chat will be removed from our website on Friday, August 28.
🎁 And we're announcing the prizes for the America's 250 Scavenger Hunt around Windham! If you haven’t finished up, you’ll definitely want to before the hunt ends on on August 31. Six prizes in all are up for grabs, including a Kindle Paperwhite.

📆 Just a reminder: The Windham Museum will be open one more time before the end of the America 250 Windham Scavenger Hunt. Stop by the Museum on Sunday, August 9, from 2 PM to 4 PM to check off that part of the Scavenger Hunt.
🎨 Thanks to the generosity of Friends of the Library of Windham , we've added the Cape Ann Museum to our museum passes!
🎉 Next week is the last week of our Summer Reading Program and we're wrapping up with some finale parties for all ages:
❓ Adult Summer Reading Wrap Party: Trivia is on Wednesday, August 12 at 6 PM (Registration full).
🍦 Children's Summer Reading Finale: Ice Cream Social on Thursday, August 13 at 6 PM (Registration required).
🔮 Teen Tarot Night Summer Reading Wrap Party on Friday, August 14 at 5:30 PM (Grades 7-12, registration required).
