🏆 STATE TRACK & FIELD IS HERE! 🏆

Today, June 4th, and tomorrow, June 5th, the Windom Eagles will compete at the 2026 MSHSL Class A State Track & Field Meet at St. Michael-Albertville High School!

Representing Windom are:

🏃 Boys 4x800 Meter Relay
🦅 Bryce Green
🦅 Caelen Ralston
🦅 Isaac Bordewyk
🦅 Braylen Lyons

🥏 Girls Discus
🦅 Theora Ahnupkana

The boys 4x800 relay qualified as Section 2A Champions and enters the state meet after setting a new Janesville Stadium facility record with a time of 8:27.60. Theora earned her trip to state with a throw of 118'10" in the discus, surpassing the state qualifying standard.

Join us in wishing these outstanding student-athletes and their coaches the best of luck as they represent Windom Area High School on Minnesota's biggest stage!

Thanks to intense collaboration among leaders from the City of Windom, Windom Area Health, Windom Area Schools, Staples Oil, Bank Midwest, and Toro, the Soaring Eagles Childcare Center will open this fall at the Highland Early Childhood Center. The Center will have childcare openings for infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children.

The Windom Eagle Baseball team picked up a big 16-5 win over the Montevideo Thunderhawks on Saturday in the winner’s bracket semifinals at Legion Field in Marshall!

The Eagles are back in action tonight in the winner’s bracket final!

The quartet not only punched their ticket to state but also set a NEW FACILITY RECORD at Janesville Stadium, breaking the previous mark of 8:42.17 set by Martin County West in 2018!

💙💛 Theora Ahnupkana — Girls Discus
🥉 3rd Place – 118'10"

Theora earned her trip to state by surpassing the state qualifying standard of 115'1" with a tremendous throw of 118'10"!

The 2026 MSHSL Class A State Track & Field Meet will be held June 4-6 at St. Michael-Albertville High School. The Boys 4x800 Relay and Theora will represent Windom among the best athletes in Minnesota as they compete for state honors.

Congratulations to Bryce, Caelen, Isaac, Braylen, Theora, and all of our Eagle Track & Field athletes and coaches on an incredible season!
