HOMEMADE ICE CREAM UPDATE! 🇺🇸🍦

We’re getting closer to our goal, but we’re still needing more homemade ice cream makers!

If you’re making ice cream, here are the drop-off times and locations:

Downtown Windom, Texas

⭐ Bring your container of ice cream, and we’ll have plastic gallon containers available so you can transfer your ice cream and take your bucket, freezer, or dish back home with you!

Notice: Boil Water Advisory LiftedTown of Windom

Effective Date: May 22, 2026

Status: The boil water advisory has been officially canceled.

💧 Safe to UseThe water system has been fully tested and meets all safety standards. You no longer need to boil your water before use.

🛑 Required Actions Before UsePlease complete these steps before drinking or using your water:

Flush Pipes: Run all cold water faucets for 5 minutes.

Clear Appliances: Discard any ice from automatic ice makers.

Clean Equipment: Run water softeners through a regeneration cycle.

Drain Tanks: Flush hot water heaters to clear the tank.

Replace Filters: Change any inline water filters on appliances.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this notice.

⚠️ Water Service Restored ⚠️

Water service has now been restored. However, all customers are currently under a BOIL NOTICE until further notice.

Please boil all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, and food preparation for at least 2 minutes before use.

You may notice air pockets or sputtering in your water lines as service returns. We recommend running your faucets for several minutes to help clear the lines.

Please be patient with water pressure as the system continues to stabilize. Full pressure should be restored within the hour.

We will notify everyone as soon as the boil notice has been lifted. Thank you for your patience and cooperation while repairs were being completed.
