The location of the 2022 Primary Election Recount changed to Department of Dine' Education Auditorium. The days and times are the same except the location. Monday August 29, 2022 through September 2, 2022 at 9 a.m. each day. Please share.

Navajo Election Administration (NEA) will be conducting 2022 Primary Election results recount of all 110 chapters for the Navajo Nation Presidential Position. NEA received 3 requests from 3 Presidential Candidates whom were not successful in the primary election. The recount will take place in Window Rock from August 29, 2022 through September 2, 2022 but the agency offices will remain open.

The top two (2) NN Presidential Candidates in the Primary Election will move on to the general election. The Election Code prescribes five (5) days for the Presidential candidates that are advancing to the General Election to select their Vice Presidential candidates. Since the 5th day is on Sunday, August 7, 2022, the last day to file for candidacy for NN Vice President and pay $1500 fee would be Monday, August 8, 2022. Please pass the word or share this post. Important Time lines for the upcoming Navajo Nation 2022 General Election. Navajo Election Administration will adhere to the Navajo Department of Health, Health Orders.

The Navajo Election Administration will not be open to the PUBLIC due to the COVID cases in the rise and for the safety for our Staff.

The Sports Center will be open to NEA staff, Board Members and Poll Officials. We will only allow (1) one Campaign Manager inside to obtain the results. All results will be posted on the eastside of the north entrance gate for all results that have been called in.

There will no ballots delivered to Sports Center.

KGAK will be broadcasting from 6pm to 10pm with the Election results that been called in.

KTNN will be available from 8pm to 10pm to broadcast the results.

All Campaign groups will and can set up tent outside of the Fair Grounds.

Restrooms will be available.

The Results will be broadcast via 2 radio stations; posted along the fence and live streamed via facebook. Two (2) TV's will be set up outside for public view (weather permitting).

Navajo Election Administration will provide you the results the best way we can.
