On Friday, our 8th Grade students got to hear from local bat expert, Tim Sichmeller. In connection with our real-world issue that we discovered during the demolition of the 1921 portion of our building, they learned about the specific bat species that was living on our campus. We worked with local experts to ensure a safe removal of the bat colony and our students benefited from this learning experience! On Saturday, the elevator shaft that these bats once called home was taken down.

A huge shoutout to our incredible Windsor Middle School WEB Leaders! 🧙‍♂️✨

These amazing students gave up the last couple days of their summer break, working incredibly hard to get everything ready for the new school year. They welcomed our incoming 6th-grade students with unmatched enthusiasm and energy, making sure everyone felt at home from day one.

Thank you for being such positive role models and truly modeling what it means to be a Wizard! We are so proud of you. 💙💛
