Our annual Cops-n-Bobbers event was a huge success! Over 35 kids tried their hand at catching fish at the Token Creek Ponds with officers from the Windsor Police Department and the Dane County Sheriff's Department. We would like to thank the following donors for their generous support of this event: Wisconsin Conservation Warden Association, Kwik Trip, Club 51 Bait Shop, Fleet Farm, Walmart, Colin Lynch, A&W, Culver's, and the Village of Windsor.

Enjoy the newly installed book located at the Windsor Crossing Conservancy StoryWalk© (just off North Towne Road, south of Windsor Rd and west of Hwy51).

WE ARE THE WIBBLY!, written by Sarah Tagholm, follows a tadpole who prefers the comfort of the "Wibbly" (frogspawn) but is forced to adapt as friends grow tails, legs, and learn to "water-fly," eventually realizing the fun in new experiences. With 20 story boards, including pictures of native frogs to Wisconsin, you can enjoy WE ARE THE WIBBLY! with family and friends as you walk around the Conservancy. Listen carefully, do you hear any frogs?

RSVP now for this weekend's Cops-N-Bobbers event at https://windsorwi.gov/events.

Join the Windsor and Dane County Deputies for this free, catch-and-release event for children 15 years of age and under (must be accompanied by an adult). Fishing poles, bait, and supplies will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own poles if they have them. Prizes will be awarded, and participants must be present to win. The event begins at 9:30am at the DNR Ponds, followed by prizes at 10:30 am, and a picnic lunch at the Old Mill Site at the Token Creek Conservancy.
