️❄️ Have you ever done the POLAR PLUNGE?! ❄️️

The Wisconsin Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR), along with Wisconsin Special Olympics (SOWI), present this annual fundraiser every year and this year's Madison Plunge has changed locations! The plunge will take place at the Henry Vilas Zoo next weekend (February 13-14)!

The Dane County Sheriff's Office and Windsor Deputies (past and present) have strong ties to LETR and Special Olympics. In fact, LETR is the largest public awareness and fundraising group for Special Olympics! 🚓❤🚓

Come join us this year! Raise funds and take the plunge and/or come volunteer to help the event run smoothly!

** WINDSOR BEAT WEDNESDAY **

Did you know that next week is Wisconsin Bus Driver Appreciation Week?! Starting Monday, February 9th, this is a week-long celebration to thank school bus drivers for keeping our precious students safe and providing a positive start and end to the school day. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!

This is also a wonderful opportunity to remind citizens and motorists of the responsibility we have to drive safely and follow all traffic laws, especially related to school buses. Remember, those flashing red lights on the top of the bus and on the stop arm mean you have to STOP for the school bus (it's just like a traffic light or stationary stop sign). The DCSO has been active with more dedicated traffic monitoring involving school buses and addressing the traffic violations related to school bus safety.
