If your account is current please disregard this notice and the notice that was sent out on text caster.

We want to help all of our residents keep their services running smoothly! This is a friendly reminder to please check your water, sewer & sanitation account.

Please settle all past-due balances immediately to avoid disruption. Utility service interruptions for unpaid accounts will begin on Wednesday, September 2nd.

Status: The road is fully open to all traffic.

Water Service: No service interruptions occurred during this project.

TRAFFIC NOTICE: STREET CLOSURE & LANE REDUCTION: Essential water line repairs will impact traffic at the intersection of S. Franklin St. & W. Center St. (300 block of W. Center St.) on Wednesday, August 26th.

Schedule: Work begins at 8:00 A.M. with an estimated completion time of 3:00 P.M. (End time is subject to change based on repair conditions).

Traffic Impact: Expect a brief full road closure at the start of work, followed by a reduction to one lane only for the remainder of the project. Please use alternative routes.

đźš§ TRAFFIC NOTICE: STREET CLOSURES & POST OFFICE ALLEY INACCESSIBLE TO THRU TRAFFIC đźš§

Important notice regarding street repairs scheduled from Monday, August 10th at 7:00 A.M. through Friday, August 14th:

• 100 Block of E. Benton: Closed to Westbound traffic. Traffic will be detoured one block over to access Main Street.

o ⚠️ Note: The alleyway behind the Post Office will also be completely inaccessible to thru traffic during this closure period.

• 100 Block of E. Colorado & 300 Block of N. Windsor: Reduced to one lane only.

Thank you for your patience as we complete these necessary infrastructure updates.

PUBLIC NOTICE The Precautionary Boil Advisory issued during the fire hydrant repair on North St. on Thursday, July 30, 2026 has been lifted effective immediately. All water samples came back with clean results, confirming the water is safe for normal consumption. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!

Water Service Restored - The Public Works Department has completed the fire hydrant repair on North St. Water service is fully restored and hydrant flushing is complete. PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER ADVISORY is in effect for the area impacted by fire hydrant repair on North St. This advisory will remain active until lab results confirm the water is safe for consumption, typically within 24 to 48 hours. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS residents who experienced an outage or low pressure should follow these steps: • Boil all water vigorously for three minutes before using it for drinking or cooking. • Allow boiled water to cool sufficiently before use. • Disinfect dishes by soaking them for one minute in clean tap water mixed with one teaspoon of unscented household bleach per gallon. • Dispose of all current ice cubes and only remake them using boiled or bottled water. • Continue boiling water for consumption until the official advisory is lifted. • Note: Water used for bathing does not need to be boiled. If you notice discolored water, run your cold-water faucets until the water runs clear. We appreciate your patience as we complete these necessary infrastructure improvements.
