Windsor Scouting - Growing Responsible Youth for over 100 years
Windsor's Boy Scout troop, active since 1912, helps boys learn how to be responsible young men, through working together while learning new skills. Responsible adult leaders guide the boys in learning how to experience high adventures while staying safe. Earning a new rank teaches a variety of skills as well as the value of hard work. Windsor Boy Scouts have always welcomed boys of all types, ages 11-17.
The Scouting program has three specific objectives, commonly referred to as the “Aims of Scouting.” They are character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. The methods by which the aims are achieved are listed below in random order to emphasize the equal importance of each.
