🚧 Coming Soon: Old Redwood Hwy & Lakewood Drive Safety Pilot Program 🚲

The week of June 15th, the Town of Windsor will install delineators along the westbound approach of Old Redwood Highway to Lakewood Drive to better separate the bicycle lane from vehicle traffic. Drivers will no longer be able to queue or merge early into the bike lane when preparing to turn right.

This is a pilot project for a limited time with the goal to improve safety with minimal delay to drivers.

We want to hear from you! Whether you drive, bike, walk, or wheel through the area, your feedback will help the Town evaluate how the pilot is working and inform future improvements.

The Town of Windsor Senior Recreation Center located at 9231 Foxwood Drive is open as a “Cooling Safe Haven” from 9AM to 6PM.
