HISTORIC MILESTONE: Land secured!

Bravo Zulu House has officially finalized the purchase of land in Mankato—the future home of America’s VERY FIRST sober home dedicated specifically to women Veterans battling PTSD, trauma, and addiction.

Right now, there are ZERO sober living homes in the country built to serve the unique recovery needs of women who served. Today, that changes. Securing this land moves us from a vision on paper to a physical foundation where healing will happen.

Building this home will take our entire community, but today we celebrate this huge leap forward. Thank you to everyone standing with us as we pioneer a safe haven for our women Veterans!

We are a home exclusively for Veterans in post-treatment for addiction who also suffer from PTSD. Our pioneering care model offers a comprehensive approach to recovery through formal therapies and counseling while providing strength through brotherhood of other Veterans.

One week from today! Mark your calendar!

Please plan to join us as we celebrate the completion of our kennel at our Winnebago House and the incredible opportunity it offers to the Veterans we serve. The celebration will start at 9:00 AM with a ceremony scheduled for 10:00 AM.

During our kennel grand opening, you will have the opportunity to learn about our collaboration with k9s for Warriors as well as meet our very first Station Dog!

Greg Wells, Director of the Station Dog Program at K9s for Warriors as well as Elizabeth Odenthal, head of our Dog Therapy Program, will be at the event to meet you and share how this new kennel and the therapy dogs that live in it will benefit our Veterans.

We will also be recognizing our generous donors whose support made these kennels possible.

Come enjoy complimentary refreshments as well as take a tour of our new kennels at the Winnebago house.

Team Shield is a community of sustainer donors who invite you to commit to making a life changing difference in our Veteran’s lives.

Join us Saturday, August 15th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Venue in Mankato.

This Midwest All-Star Wrestling event hosted by North Mankato American Legion Post 518 is a perfect night of entertainment for the whole family. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Proceeds will benefit Bravo Zulu House for the construction of the new Mankato Women’s House opening in 2027.

We are proud to welcome Ryan Reichert as the new Chair of the Bravo Zulu House Men's Advisory Board.

Ryan is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel who served 23 years as an airborne ranger, including multiple combat deployments. After his military career, he brought his leadership experience into the Fortune 500 world before answering a new calling: helping others discover purpose and resilience as a speaker, executive coach, author, and podcaster.

What makes Ryan's leadership especially meaningful is his personal journey. As someone in recovery himself, he understands the challenges our residents face and the hope that comes from having the right support system. His unique blend of military service, executive leadership, and lived experience makes him an exceptional advocate for the Veterans we serve.

As Bravo Zulu House continues its mission of Declaring War on PTSD and helping Veterans reclaim their lives, we're honored to have Ryan leading our Men's Advisory Board.
