Very successful kids fishing contest this year with 76 kids trying there hand at angling. Fishing action was good with about 200 fish caught during the 2 hour event including 100 sheep head, 70 panfish, 20 bass and 2 catfish! Special thanks goes out to the sponsors Critters Sports, Battle on Bago and Poygan Conservation Club.

Critters Sports has hosted the event for 20 years and is passing the torch to the Poygan Conservation Club to continue introducing the great sport of fishing to up and coming anglers!

PSA: a debit card was left at Marble Park on Saturday July 18th. If you are missing a card & did not cancel it in hopes of finding it you can claim it at the Village of Winneconne Administrative Office.

Sovereign State Days 2026 has officially come to a close.
