Each one of our departments enhances the economical growth, progress, and development of the community that everyone can enjoy. Village operations are carried out by eleven different departments. The Village park system consists of three park sites ranging in sizes from an acre to 44.08 acres. In all, the park system includes 73.08 acres of land. The parks offer a wide range of activities includin

g baseball, tennis, volleyball, basketball, fishing and playgrounds. The Village also operates a swimming pool during the summer months which offers swimming instruction and is always staffed by certified lifeguards. Our park system provides opportunities for casual picnics, family and group gatherings, weddings and wedding receptions, and much more! Winneconne is proud to be the home of some of Winnebago County's more prominent manufacturing companies. Among these "corporate citizens" are Multi-Conveyor, LLC, Valley Vinyl Products, Menator Metal Works, Proto-1 Manufacturing, Switchgear Power Systems, Historic Floors of Oshkosh, Inc. and Chief Industrial Services.

Work is continuing along Grant Street as MCC progresses from east to west. Please be aware that you may experience minor delays in the area, but all side streets connecting to Grant Street will remain accessible.

๐Ÿšง 2026 Street Reconstruction Project Update ๐Ÿšง

Construction on the 14th Avenue and Grant Street/Enterprise Road project is scheduled to begin the week of July 27 and continue through mid-September, weather permitting. The overall project is anticipated to be substantially complete by September 17, 2026.

Tentative Construction Schedule

14th Avenue

Week of July 27: Traffic control and erosion control setup
Early August: Pond construction
August 10โ€“21: Excavation and sewer installation
Late August: Curb and gutter installation
Early September: Intersection preparation and paving
Early September: Final landscaping

Grant Street & Enterprise Road

Early August: Traffic control setup
Mid-August: Pulverizing and fine grading
Late August: Utility adjustments and concrete work
Early September: Asphalt paving
Mid-September: Shouldering and project wrap-up

Please note that this schedule is subject to change due to weather, field conditions, and other unforeseen circumstances.
