It's hard to believe I've been on the Winner School Board for 3 years. It's time for elections and I am running for a second term to continue to serve the school and our community.

Three years ago when I made this page, I thought it would be a temporary page, but it turned in to an awesome way for community members to reach me. I appreciate hearing from all of you. I take your questions and concerns seriously. If you have anything you'd like to discuss, please message me through this page, or feel free to call my cellphone at (605) 840-0642. Thank you. I appreciate your support.

Notice of vacancy of school board positions. Petitions must be filed by February 28th. See the notice information in the attached image.

Hello Winner School District parents and citizens. I've been fielding some questions and concerns today. Please note, I'm listening. I believe the entire school board wants what's best for students of Tripp County.
If you ever have questions or concerns, please speak up. We must communicate to ensure our schools are the best they can be.

I'm proud to announce that I'm running for a position on the Winner School District Board of Education.

One of the most vital pieces of any community is a strong school system to build our next generation, and I feel I can be a great asset to continue to grow and maintain excellence that is recognized in the Winner School District.

I believe all parents and students of the Winner School District have a voice. I believe our teachers need our support. I will proudly be a representative of these voices if given the opportunity to serve on the school board.

Thank you for your support!

It is the individual responsibility of every school board member to understand the duties set before them. In turn, voters and the community at large, should have an idea of the responsibilities of the school board.

While we work with today’s students, we cannot be static in our thinking. A school board must partner with the district to define the success of current and future students. Adaptability is important as change is a constant.

As we work and grow - with student success a priority - we must see the big picture.
Board members must be pro-active and innovative. As goals and priorities are defined, we must keep the community informed. It is not enough to work only to stay in the constant, just going through the motions. The school board must strive to ensure the success of the district for years to come. Not easy, but important!

Did you see my ad in the Winner Advocate this week? If not, it’s posted here. I received an inbox message yesterday about the ad. It said, “Your ad says STUDENT/TEACHER SUPPORT, so you’re anti-administration?"

No, I am not anti-administration. I do believe though, that our teachers are of vital importance to the future of our district and most importantly, our students.

Creating and supporting a legacy of strong teachers equals student achievement! To invest in our teachers is to invest in our students and our students are our future!

I would like, as a school board member, the opportunity to work with administration utilizing my passion for our school district, competence, integrity and my leadership skills.
