I’ve been so busy that I forgot to post that we will be participating in the Sales Along 84. The sale is this Friday September 11, 2026 and Saturday September 12, 2026 from 7am-5pm at 703 West Court St. Winnfield LA. This sale will help us provide vet care to the animals in need at the City of Winnfield Animal Shelter and animals in our community. We are in need of volunteers to help. This sale is going to be one of our biggest sales. We have so much stuff. Lots of brand new with tags items. Everything is price to sell. We take pride in being really organized. All of our clothing has been put on hangers with the sizes on the top of the hangers. We have furniture, baby clothes, toys, womens, mens, kids, seasonal, household items, antiques and so much more!! Come shop for such a wonderful cause.

I can’t believe just 2 days after this picture and post was made I’d find him dying. I wish I could turn back time and give him another hug and tell him I love him 😭 RIP Buddy.

Buddy said he’s happy he finally has a fan his size. I personally bought this for us to try and stay cool at our yard sales, but it’s been so hot in my office that we need it in here. Come on fall weather. This heat is about to kill us.

My heart is so broken right now. I’m at a loss for words. This morning we found Buddy laying down, unable to stand and barely responding to us. Buddy has been with me for 11 years now. We just celebrated his 12th birthday on April 14th. Unfortunately his body was tired and there was nothing I could do. Myself, my grandson Liam and Co-Worker Mitch loved on him as the vet assisted in helping him pass peacefully and pain free. RIP Buddy, you will be truly missed.

On August 24, 2026 this gentlemen came to the Shelter and met several kitties. He decided to adopt Dash. Then a few days later his wife came and adopted Dash’s sister Dottie. We are so happy that both of these siblings get to stay together forever and always have each other play with.

All of these sweet kitties have been left in the adoption kennels at Petco in Alexandria, LA, Go check them out and adopt a new fur baby!!!

This handsome orange tabby named Sheriff found his forever home. He’s enjoying being spoiled rotten!!!

On July 21, 2026 this sweet family met several cats and kittens. They were torn between Blue Bell and Percy. They chose Blue Bell, but called after a few days and they wanted to adopt Percy as well. We are so happy for both of them.
