Celia Devillier for Justice of the Peace Celia Devillier has had the honor of serving as Justice of Peace, Pct. 1. She was appointed after her husband passed away in the Spring of 2021.

After sitting on the bench the last few months she made the decision to run for this seat. A personal message from JP Devillier: It been an honor to serve the citizens of Chambers County, Precinct 1 since my husband Justice of the Peace Yale Devillier passed away. I hope to carry on his enthusiasm for the job and love for the citizens of Chambers County. I have learned a great deal in these few short months and so very ready to serve. I ask for your support and your vote.

Today marks my one year anniversary for being appointed Justice of the Peace for Precinct 1. I could not be prouder to continue this journey with the community of Winnie/Stowell. I will always believe this should still be Yale's job though God had a different plan. I thank each of you for the continued love and support through out the past year and time to come. I work hard to make each of you proud and as long as God let’s me, I’ll be here to serve you for as long as He sees fit. Blessings to each of you today and always!

I am so blessed to have been able to serve and fulfill my late husband’s term as Justice of the Peace, Pct. 1 in Chambers County for the last few months since he passed away to cancer earlier this year. I have been honored to carry on his legacy of serving the constituents of Chambers County with integrity, honesty and fairness. As some of you know, I have decided to run for Justice of the Peace, Pct. 1 in the 2022 Election cycle. I have chosen to run because I know I can make an impact as Justice of the Peace to our community - most importantly, I choose to serve for our children. Because of my daughters and my grandchildren, I want to continue to serve, and hope I can count on your support and your vote!
