June is Scleroderma Awareness Month
This month, we stand together to raise awareness for those living with scleroderma-a rare autoimmune disease that affects the skin, connective tissue, and internal organs.
What is Scleroderma?
Scleroderma means “hard skin,” but its impact goes far beyond that. It can cause stiffness, pain, and fatigue, and in some cases, affect vital organs like the lungs and heart. While there’s no cure yet, early diagnosis and treatment can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
