If you have ever thought about becoming a volunteer firefighter, NOW IS THE TIME! We desperately need help! This drought has really been hard on our local departments and unfortunately only looks to be getting worse by the day. If you are still reading and are curious here is what we need!

Willing volunteers. That's it!
All training is provided.

We need volunteers in all areas of the fire service. If directly fighting fire is not your thing, we have support roles that need to be filled and are equally important.

If you are interested, or just curious about what it takes to be a volunteer reach out to us. You can also get in touch with our Chief Tony McGovern(903-975-5040). Thanks for reading! Below is a picture dump from the last couple of weeks! We have been busy!

Ogburn Fire responded to a single vehicle vs a fallen tree mva this morning around 3am. Upon arrival we found that the driver was entrapped and had severe injuries. We, along with the help from our brothers at Hainesville FD, were able to get the driver out of the car and transported to the hospital. Again, big thank you to Hainesville Fire, UT Health EMTs and Flight Medics, and all other first responders who helped out tonight!

Just a reminder folks! When traveling at night after or during storms, be sure to travel with caution. You never know what lies ahead.

All Ogburn units back in service at this time!
