What a beautiful evening at the Old Post Office Museum as we begin celebrating 250 years of our nation’s history! We were honored to welcome more than 100 guests for our special event.
A highlight of the night was recognizing Mr. Winton Lofton. Recently turning 100 years old, he is the oldest living WWII veteran in Franklin Parish! It was a truly meaningful moment for our community. We were also blessed with beautiful music from talented soloists, choir members, and musicians who made the evening even more memorable.
Many of our local churches have graciously provided memorabilia to showcase their history. In addition many of our amazing veterans have loaned us their treasured momentos. If you haven’t seen the exhibits yet, be sure to stop by while they’re open! Come experience this special tribute to Faith, Freedom, and Country.
