🦖🌊 Our first two Summer Reading Programs are happening next week! 🌊🦖

Mark your calendars and kick off an exciting summer of reading and discovery with us!

🐠 June 9th - Tuesday Morning: The South Carolina Aquarium Rovers will be visiting with some amazing critters for us to meet and learn about.

🦕 June 11th - Thursday Evening: We'll enjoy a couple of dinosaur-themed stories and then get creative by building our very own pasta dinosaurs. Each dino will even get its own special name!

Registration is not required, but we'd love to know if you plan to attend so we can be prepared. If you're not sure yet, that's okay too—just stop by if you're able!

We can't wait to see everyone for a week full of stories, animals, creativity, and summer fun! 📚☀️🦖✨

📚 Library Closure Notice 📚

The library will be closed on Wednesday, June 10th for staff training.

Our team will be spending the day learning new skills and resources to better serve our community. We appreciate your understanding as we take this time for professional development.

We will reopen with regular hours on the following day and look forward to seeing you then!

🦖☀️ Our Summer Reading Kickoff is almost here! Join us on June 6th from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM to “Unearth a Story” at the library!

We’ll have games, face painting, a balloon artist, Jurassic adventures, a prehistoric picnic, bounce house fun, and a water slide! 📚🦕💦

A few reminders for families:
• Please bring a towel and/or change of clothes for the water slide.
• Children cannot have their faces painted before entering the bounce house or going down the water slide. Face painting is best saved for after those activities.

We can’t wait to kick off an exciting summer of reading with everyone! 🌞📖

🇺🇸 The library will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

We remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We hope everyone has a safe and meaningful holiday.

We will reopen with normal hours on Tuesday. 📚
