Baby season is here for many creatures. If you find orphaned wildlife, contact the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota (WRC). WRC is open daily, 10am - 6pm. Leave a voicemail and someone should get back to you within a hour or so.

Typically, it's best to leave babies where they are but, in some circumstances, the mother is injured or passed away. If you know there are orphaned babies, it's best to contact WRC as soon as possible to make arrangements for them to get care. Also, understand that you will be responsible for potential transportation of the animal to a rehabber as SE MN has very limited resources.

If you are dealing with nuisance wildlife, the MN DNR website provides excellent education on if the animal is protected, and how to legally remove it from your property. A link to their website can be found in the comments. 3

Baby season is here! Help us feed the babies in our nurseries by purchasing food, tools, and enrichment items during our baby shower.

Home safe!

This is Beaulah. She went missing earlier this week in the area of Gilmore Valley road and St. Mary’s University. She was last spotted going into the bluff on Goodview Valley on the afternoon of the 5th. Photo attached of where she was last spotted.

We need sightings of her.

People have been out looking the area she was last seen with no luck.

You may notice her limping as she has a bad paw. She is friendly but frightened and may run. She is wearing the collar in the photo of her sitting.

Please comment any recent sightings you have so her owner can find her!

Update: Lincoln was sighted at Peerless Chain around 10pm last night.

Home safe!

A generous citizen is offering a cash reward for his return!

This is Lincoln, he escaped this morning when his kiddo was getting on the bus in the area of 7th and Olmstead. In that time, he has made his way to the East End Rec Center but hasn’t been sighted since.

He is wearing a collar with tags but is scared and most likely will continue to run.

He is a cavachon and roughly 15 pounds, black and white.

At this time, we are asking to call in any sightings of him and do not chase him.

Please call 507-457-6294.
